A company or organization cannot stand without human beings who play an important role. Man is the most important, potent and critical, resource of any organization because they are the one who are working. Humans have a highly developed brain, capable of abstract reasoning, language, introspection, and emotion. Humans are notable for their desire to understand and influence the world around them, seeking to explain and manipulate natural phenomena through science. This natural curiosity has led to the development of advanced tools and skills. Since we are high-tech right now, they also have the knowledge on new technologies and capable to manipulate a big machines. New technologies today are one of the main reasons why companies today become more productive and competitive. But, machines don't have a "heart" who cannot feel and only follows instructions without knowing if it is a good or bad decision. HRM is included in BSCS/BSIT curriculum because we need to understand the importance of it to meet strategic goals by attracting, and maintaining the employees and also to manage them effectively.
