On the dawn of September 18, 1989 a cute little baby was born and the family was very happy because of a new member. According to her father who saw what had happened that night, the baby was as petite as a coca cola bottle and tubby as it can be. Well, delivering this little girl was really hard; giving all the serenity is required. But after all the hardships of giving birth to her they were so happy, and they named it Tanya Clarissa. And that is me...^_^
My Fathers name is Mr. Antonio Amancio, I got my name “Tanya” from his, and they append the second name “Clarissa”. I really don’t know why my mom chose “Clarissa” as my second name. But, I tried to interview her and she only answered me that she likes that name. I know that she has a reason and she only wants me to be puzzled. Honestly, I don’t like it. Why?? It’s your post to ask me personally.=P Well, I just need to accept that I’m Tanya CLARISSA and I was a God given gift to my family.

Last Saturday, September 20,2008, my groupmates and me meet at the school and made our major paper for our proposal on our adopted company. Then we decided to go to John’s house to finish the interface. I arrived at John’s house before 10:00 pm because I go to church first to attend the meeting. We made the database all night and we finished it earlier in the morning. I was so very sleepy that time because I only sleep 2 hours. Then, I need to go home, and get prepared so that I won’t be late at church. But, it was worthy because we made it! Simple but awesome.!!

Last Monday, September 17, 2008 our groupmates started making an introduction on our major paper. We went to the library and planned the making for our proposal. We made the background of the study, objectives of the proposal and the scope and limitations. We borrow books to have some reference and formats in making the intro, objectives, etc. I was assigned to make purpose of our proposal then I let John to revise it.
Then, our next plan is to start making an interface.:)

“Justamente Feliz”
(Just Got Lucky)
Our group chooses RDL and INSULAR HOTEL as our first adopted companies. Unfortunately, we are not entertained because they we’re busy. But, it is not the reason to give up! Instead, we’re challenged and made some letters. And we realized that most things happen and came out with one special force! Braveness brings us and we are anxious to have an adopted company.
We’ve done a lot of research as if we are looking for a job. We listed it and made some letters. At last! one positive response.. :))

This Feeling When It Rains
I don't know this feeling when it rains;
when the sky is heavy
and the air is wet;
when the leaves are fresh
and the grass shiny;
when crystals are all around
and the weather cool;
when the wind blows soft
and whispers like a dream;
when it is nice to sleep
and build tales in the mind;
when girls become pretty
and their hair so smooth;
when lovers become sweet
and the birds sing cheer;
when the farmers smile
and trees grow tall;
when the world looks beautiful
and you know Someone cares.

Many people are fond of watching animes. My younger sister is one of them. She is Toni a 2nd
Me, myself and I are also an anime fan but not that much as my sister who is really an aficionada. I only admire animes because it is cute and gorgeous. I also like watching stories about it. My classmate shares his collection of movies and I admitted that it is good than a telenovela.
Actually, I prepared a research about animes, and I want to share it with you.
Anime (ah-NEE-may), more commonly referred to as Japanese animation, has its roots in manga (MAHN-ga), or Japanese comics. over hundred years ago, it starts as pictures drawn on temple walls, then on wooden blocks, and finally as woodblock prints with captions collected in books. In time, the captions became stories and the art became sequential. By the early 20th century, manga had become the main form of literature for most of Japanese society.At the same time, animated filmmaking started in Europe and then the U.S. When it appeared in Japan, it became a huge phenomenon—so much so that after 1940, over 40% of all domestic films in Japan were animated films based on manga. Due to its integral role in Japanese society, manga appealing to all age groups were routinely published and the scope of animated films also spanned all ages. Conversely, animation was perceived as primarily a medium for children in the West, due to the lack of animated films aimed at older viewers and the flood of now classic cartoons in the decades both before and after World War II.
When television became a popular entertainment medium in Japan, animation naturally became a large part of the programming schedule. While other shows preceded it, the first really huge animated series in terms of popularity was Osamu Tezuka’s Tetsuwan Atom in 1963. The show’s popularity caught the attention of NBC in 1964 and 104 episodes were syndicated in the U.S. as Astro Boy and became the highest rated syndicated show on television, live action or otherwise. As a result of this reaction, other shows soon found their way on to American television, including Tetsujin 28 (Gigantor), Eight Man (TOBOR, the Eighth Man), Kaitei Shonen Marin (Marine Boy), Jungle Taitei [Jungle Emperor] (Kimba, the White Lion), and Mach Go-Go-Go! (Speed Racer). Although these shows were edited to American standards (often with numerous episodes not even being released in the U.S.), broadcasters and pressure groups still complained about the violence present in these shows.
These protests resulted in a lull in bringing anime to American television for a number of years, although series and features were still being released in Japan and were wildly successful. U.S. viewers didn’t get another look at anime until the late 1970’s, when 1972’s Kagaku Ninja Tai Gatchaman
The first anime series shown in America was Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy (Tetsuwan Atom). Astro Boy premiered on NBC stations in 1963. The premise of the show was very simple, Dr. Tenma builds a robot boy in the image of his dead son. Latter realizing that his robot boy son will never grow to become man, Dr. Tenma sells Astroy Boy to circus. Eventually Astro Boy is rescued by Dr. Orchanomizu's, who adopts him and begins to create a robot family. NBC Enterprises changed character names to make it more American. Dr. Tenma was renamed Dr. Boyton and Dr. Orchanomizu's name became Dr. Elefun.Posted by Tanya Clarissa Amancio at 9:46 PM 1 comments
Our President, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo stated her State of the Nation Address last July 28, 2008. She said something about the progress we are having in 2007. She said, "we ended 2007 with the strongest economic growth in a generation. Inflation was low, the peso strong and a million new jobs were created. We were all looking to a better, brighter future."
-According to her SONA, I read an article who catches my attention and I think it relates on our subject Human Resource Management.
-we all know that training is important because it refers to the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies. Because of this trainings, the million students who took vocational courses are given a chance to have a job and and it helps to develop the skills to have a more competitive and well trained hu\man resource.
-about on this statement, our President invite some investors because they can offer jobs if ever they decide to have a company in our country. There will be an increase on the demand of workers.
-on this statement, our President states about health insurances. The health insurance is generally used to describe a form of insurance that pays for medical expenses. It is important because it includes insurance covering disability or long-term nursing or custodial care needs.
President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo said:
"I care too much about this nation to let anyone stand in the way of our people's wellbeing. Hindi ko papayagang humadlang ang sinuman sa pag-unlad at pagsagana ng taong bayan. I will let no one – and no one's political plans – threaten our nation's survival.
Our country and our people have never failed to be there for us. We must be there for them now."
I just hope that all of her promises will be implemented well. We all know that being a president requires a very heavy responsibility. We just need to cooperate and be concern.

A company or organization cannot stand without human beings who play an important role. Man is the most important, potent and critical, resource of any organization because they are the one who are working. Humans have a highly developed brain, capable of abstract reasoning, language, introspection, and emotion. Humans are notable for their desire to understand and influence the world around them, seeking to explain and manipulate natural phenomena through science. This natural curiosity has led to the development of advanced tools and skills. Since we are high-tech right now, they also have the knowledge on new technologies and capable to manipulate a big machines. New technologies today are one of the main reasons why companies today become more productive and competitive. But, machines don't have a "heart" who cannot feel and only follows instructions without knowing if it is a good or bad decision. Man can give their best to cooperate and to achieve the goal of a company and success of an organization.They are unpredictable because we, humans have different characteristics, beliefs and personalities.
